Terms of Service
1. Introduction
Welcome to Stardust Wellness (“we,” “us,” “our”). We provide massage therapy, wellness treatments, and related services at our premises located at 59 Kilnside Road, Paisley, PA1 1RP (the “Services”). By booking and attending an appointment or purchasing a product from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our Services.
2. Scope of Services
Our Services include, but are not limited to:
- Various forms of massage therapy (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone)
- Wellness treatments (e.g., facials, aromatherapy, reflexology)
- Sale of wellness-related products
We reserve the right to amend or discontinue any of our Services without notice.
3. Booking and Cancellation Policy
3.1 Booking
Appointments can be booked online, via phone, or in person. We require certain personal information to secure your booking, including your name, contact details, and any relevant medical history.
3.2 Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Cancellations or rescheduling made with more than 48 hours' notice will not incur a charge.
- Cancellations or rescheduling made within 24 hours of the appointment time will be charged 50% of the service fee.
- No-shows, cancellations or rescheduling within 2 hours of the appointment will be charged the full service fee.
- We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to therapist availability or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will not be charged.
3.3. Punctuality Policy
Clients are kindly requested to arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. If a client arrives more than 10 minutes late, I may need to reschedule the appointment to avoid disruption to subsequent bookings that day. Alternatively, the treatment time may be shortened to accommodate the delay. The full session fee will still apply in such cases.
4. Health and Safety
4.1 Health Conditions
Before receiving any treatment, clients must disclose any relevant health conditions, including but not limited to pregnancy, injuries, allergies, or chronic health issues. This information helps us tailor the treatment to your needs and ensures your safety.
4.2 Contraindications
Certain medical conditions may be contraindicated for specific treatments. We reserve the right to refuse or alter a treatment if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
4.3 Hygiene and Conduct
Clients are expected to maintain personal hygiene and conduct themselves respectfully while on our premises.
Clients are expected to wear appropriate coverage during treatments to ensure their comfort and maintain professional standards. Any inappropriate requests or behaviour, whether before or during the treatment, will not be tolerated. In such cases, I reserve the right to immediately terminate the session, ask the client to leave the premises, and/or contact the police if necessary.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any client who fails to adhere to these standards.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Pricing
All prices for our Services and products are listed in GBP. We reserve the right to change our pricing without prior notice.
5.2 Payment Methods
We accept payments by cash, credit/debit card, and other electronic payment methods. Full payment is required at the time of the service or product purchase.
5.3 Refunds
All payments for Services are non-refundable, except in cases of service cancellation by us or if you are unsatisfied with the service due to a significant issue that we are unable to rectify.
6. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for purchase and can be redeemed for Services or products at our premises. Vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have an expiry date of 12 months from the date of purchase.
7. Liability
7.1 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Scottish law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our Services or products.
7.2 Personal Belongings
We do not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal belongings brought onto our premises.
7.3 Insurance
We hold public liability insurance to cover any claims arising from our negligence. However, this does not cover incidents resulting from clients’ failure to disclose relevant health information or failure to follow our advice and instructions.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR. We will only collect, store, and process your personal data for purposes related to your use of our Services. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Complaints
We strive to provide the highest quality service. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our Services, please inform us immediately so that we can address the issue. Formal complaints should be submitted in writing to stardustmassagtherapy33@gmail.com and we will aim to respond within 14 days.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our Services indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
